Mark O’Connor - Director of Wildlife Management
Mark is native of Huntingdon QC, a small community southwest of Montreal. His passion for hunting, fishing and the outdoors led him to McGill University’s Macdonald Campus, where he obtained a B.Sc. in Wildlife Biology (2005). He then continued his studies at McGill where in 2008, he received a M.Sc. in Renewable Resource Sciences for research on the behaviour of Surf Scoters that he conducted in Nain, Labrador and in the St-Lawrence Estuary. Mark’s professional career as a biologist has led him to study birds of prey in Gaspésie, mountain goats in Alberta, white-tailed deer on Anticosti Island and most recently here, to the NMRWB
